Data Policy for Shippers
At AutoDMB, we recognize that the trust of our Shippers is built upon transparency, data security, and compliance with the Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data and related Russian regulations. This comprehensive Data Policy describes the categories of data we collect from Shippers, the lawful purposes for which we process this data, the measures we take to protect it, and your rights as a data subject under Russian law.
1. Data We Collect
To deliver reliable, secure, and tailored shipping services, we collect a broad set of data from Shippers, including:
Identification and Contact Information: Full name, mobile number, email address, and company or organization details (if you operate as a business shipper).
Cargo and Transaction Details: Type of cargo, weight, size, pickup and delivery locations, required timelines, and any special handling instructions.
Platform Interaction Data: Order history, frequency of cargo postings, accepted and declined carrier proposals, feedback and ratings given, and service preferences.
Technical and Access Data: IP address, browser version, device information, session logs, and cookies to support secure access and user analytics.
2. Purpose of Data Collection and Processing
We process your data lawfully, fairly, and transparently to ensure the smooth and secure operation of our logistics marketplace. These purposes include:
Matching your cargo listings with suitable, verified carriers based on vehicle capacity, location, and availability.
Facilitating secure communication between you and carriers after accepting a bid.
Providing customer support, dispute resolution, and service troubleshooting.
Processing payments, generating invoices, and maintaining transaction records in compliance with Russian financial laws.
Performing data-driven analytics to improve user experience, optimize cargo matching algorithms, and enhance platform features.
Meeting regulatory obligations and cooperating with Russian authorities when lawfully required.
3. Data Visibility and Sharing Practices
Cargo details (excluding private contact information) become visible to verified carriers once your shipment is posted.
Your contact details are shared exclusively with the carrier whose bid you accept.
We do not sell your data to marketing agencies, advertisers, or unrelated third parties.
Selected data may be shared with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, data verification partners) under strict confidentiality agreements.
Where legally required, data may be disclosed to authorized Russian government agencies and regulators.
4. Data Security Measures
Protecting your data is central to our operations. We implement industry-leading security measures, including:
SSL/TLS encryption to secure data during transfer.
AES-256 encryption for data stored in our databases.
Role-based access controls ensure that only authorized personnel can view or handle sensitive data.
Regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and external audits.
Server infrastructure hosted within the Russian Federation to comply with data residency requirements.
Disaster recovery planning and backup systems to safeguard against data loss.
5. Data Retention Policy
We retain your data as long as your account remains active, allowing access to past orders and service history.
Upon deactivation or deletion of your account, we promptly remove non-essential data.
Legally required data, such as transaction records and invoices, is securely archived for the retention period specified under Russian law (commonly 3–5 years).
Archived data is securely separated from active data, protected against unauthorized access, and deleted once retention requirements expire.
